Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Qin Gang's Remarks on the Elevation of the Level of Sino-British Strategic Dialogue Mechanism

Q: It is learnt that China and Britain will lift their Strategic Dialogue mechanism to a higher level during British Foreign Secretary David Miliband's visit to China. Please confirm.

A: To further strengthen the communication at the strategic level between China and Britain, the two sides have decided to lift the Strategic Dialogue mechanism to a higher level. State Councilor Dai Bingguo will hold the Strategic Dialogue with Foreign Secretary Miliband on March 16.
